Ted Bowman - Actor
Ted has been a Long time contributor
Stricken by polio when he was very young, Ted turned to dance to help strengthen his legs, and so began a life-long interest performing and graphic arts. By age three Ted had appeared on television and through-out his elementary and high school years competed and performed in amateur figure skating contests and shows. The first time Ted “trod the boards” was in the role of Hansel in a grade eight production of Hansel and Gretel. Through the years Mr. Bowman has studied performing arts at the Banff School of Fine Arts, has sung with the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America, and has instructed the Dale Carnie Course. “All the world’s a stage” and most days you will find Ted performing as Winery Manager, entertaining his guests with tales of great wine.
